Always carry water around with you. Even if you have hydrated in the morning, it is essential to keep rehydrating yourself throughout the day, especially after making your runs. In addition, you could use electrolytes in your water to replenish your body with essential nutrients and keep you energized for the activity. Take along one-liter bottled water on your excursion to avoid dehydration.

Skip Overdressing

Excessive sweating can cause dehydration. If you are wondering how you will sweat in the cold, snowy environment, look at your clothes. Skiing is an exercise that requires energy, and your body will burn calories to provide you with this energy. Overdressing can force your body to work overtime. 

Understandably, you do not want to be cold at the top of the mountain. The solution would be to dress in layers. You could add or remove layers depending on how you feel.
