Olivia Dunne, the LSU gymnast and Sports Illustrated swimsuit model who is one of the most popular influncers on social media, has allegedly run into a TikTok problem.
Dunn noticed that her engagement from her 7.8 million followers was way down, and asked on a video, “Why am I shadow banned?”
The shadowbanning practice allows content to be posted, but severely limits the audience that can see it. Dunne’s last four videos fell below a million views, a benchmark that previously was the lowest a post would draw.
The influencer is reportedly making $1 million per year, making her one of the leading social media stars.
Dunne, 21, has already had some issues with the TikTok platform. Earlier this year, her account disappeared for a brief period.
“It’s a glitch,” Dunne tweeted in response to one person who asked about the disappearance. “Idk what’s wrong with my account right now.” The account was restored shortly thereafter.
Dunne will be returning for the Sports Illustrated swimsuit 2024 issue after debuting in it last year.
